I’ve always been drawn to making things.
As a Design Engineer, I work across design systems, interaction design, and frontend development. I enjoy figuring out how an interface should look, how it should behave, and how to build it. That can mean shaping a component system, testing an idea through a prototype, or refining the details of a working product.
Outside of work, I make music and build wooden furniture whenever I can. Both give me a different way to think about making: listening closely, working with constraints, and learning through small adjustments. I like seeing how individual decisions come together to shape the whole.
I also spend a lot of time outside with my four huskies, two of them rescues. They bring plenty of chaos and give me a good reason to step away from the screen.
Across all of these things, I’m drawn to the process of turning an idea into something you can use, hear, or hold.
